Psyllium husk is produced when the outer coating of a Psyllium Seed is processed to acquire husk. Psyllium husk has many medical properties, due to which it is a well-known ingredient in the Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical industries. It contains a dietary fiber which helps to recover from many health problems. Due to its enormous nutritional value, psyllium husk is used in many products such as protein bars, healthy shakes, etc. Psyllium Husk transforms into a thick and gel-like character in water due to which many food processing companies and cosmetic companies use this product as one of the ingredients for its thickness properties.
